The organizational structure of MOPADA-SL includes the Board and the secretariat. The secretariat is headed by the Executive Director where as the Board is headed by the chairman. The secretariat manages and implements the organization’s policies, programs and plans based on the approval of the board of MOPADA-SL. The membership of MOPADA– SL in all the operational areas of MOPADA– SL elects four individuals, together with three other reputable persons in the society, notably a lawyer or medical doctor and another, through an election held by the general body to form the board.

Movement towards Peace and Development Agency(MOPADA-SL) was established in the year 2006 as an agency to save humanity. This was as a result of the facts that the brutish rebel war in the country left almost every body in the state agony .As an organization, we work towards ensuring self-reliance by not only building the capacity of the communities but also creating positive impact on the lives of all our beneficiaries. MOPADA-SL was formed as a response to the UN plea, to salvage the deplorable condition of children, women and youths in Sierra Leone. As an Organization, our dream is to ensure that the rights of children, women and youths in Sierra Leone are protected in both law and practice.
OPADA-SL is a community development oriented organization that is poised on reaching the rural communities that are badly abandoned in terms of development. Our Community participation is based on the fact that emergency periods are now over, meaning the needs of the impoverished communities must now be addressed in the form of sustainable development.
MOPADA-SL is therefore handling the felts needs of the communities with dialogue of those that are in the most vulnerable situation
